FutureM Marketing Flash Mob in Boston
On September 14, 2011, we organized a marketing flash mob in conjunction with MITX's FutureM conference, a five-day experience exploring what's next in marketing, media, and technology.
The place? Copley Square - right in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts. The song? "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO. The participants? Fun-loving marketing folks representing a wide range of local businesses, from one-person consultancies to small start-ups to big companies.
Why a flash mob? We live and breathe social media and video here at Pixability, and we wanted to use these tools to bring the marketing community together to show some spirit and have a whole lot of fun. From providing flash mob training via video to spilling the "secret" via social media to including Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and foursquare within our dance, we're proud of the group we pulled together and grateful to everyone who agreed to go shufflin', shufflin' with us.
