Tell us a little bit about your background:
Upon realizing that a career as an archaeologist in Egypt, or a dolphin trainer was not going to financially support the lifestyle I sought, I stumbled into media and ran with it. I started out in ad sales in Sydney, Australia and have since moved over to New York to spice things up. After spending a few years working in big tech, I was ready to join a family of smart, humble, ambitious people at a company where I could have a real impact and that was Pixability.
What is the last thing you watched on YouTube?
My recent search history is ranging between ‘chicken broth recipe crock pot’ to ‘burnt basque cheesecake’, ‘vivaldi four seasons’ and ‘trophouse sax’ so I guess I go to YouTube for education and entertainment.
What is the best career advice you have ever received?
Always be curious.
What advice would you give to someone starting out in their career?
Don’t let your insecurities or imposter syndrome get in the way of opportunities. Aim high- you only have things to gain.
