As we begin the month of June, Pixability is proud to share our support for the LGBTQIA+ community this month – and every month. To celebrate Pride Month, we will be highlighting quotes and content from members of the community on our social media pages, participating in our annual Steps to Stonewall Challenge, and leading fireside chats.

Our annual Steps to Stonewall Challenge remembers and honors the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The uprising occurred on June 28th, 1969 at the Stonewall Inn and serves as the catalyst to the Gay Rights Movement across the globe. To commemorate the event, Pixability educates its employees about the Stonewall Uprising and invites team members to walk, jog, or run their way to hitting a company-wide step goal.

Along with the Steps to Stonewall Challenge, we allow our team to celebrate Pride Month together through happy hours featuring fun events such as drag queen bingo as well as educational opportunities.

Stay connected with us on social media to see our featured quotes throughout the month. The first quote of the month is one from Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man elected to public office in California:

“It takes no compromise to give people their rights… it takes no money to respect the individual. It takes no political deal to give people freedom. It takes no survey to remove repression.”
