Following last year’s popular Top 100 Brand analysis, we powered our software to identify how this year’s Top 100 Brands (according to Interbrand) are performing on YouTube, in comparison to last year’s crop. In our analysis of viewership, engagement, publishing strategy, and presence (Pixability’s metric of average number of channels and subscribers per brand), we found that the Top 100 Brands are maturing on YouTube. In aggregate, these leading brands are showing more sophisticated YouTube strategies, with evenly distributed video publishing throughout the work week, a 43% year-over-year increase in presence on YouTube, and a 10% increase in engagement over last year.
