Pixability VP of Marketing Rob Ciampa recently spoke to the FutureM 2012 audience about the harsh truths marketers are dealing with when it comes to video and social media marketing. Many aren’t seeing the return on investment for expensive, high production value videos. What’s worse, AdWords is often misused and becomes less effective for marketers who don’t understand how to hyper-target their audience.
Fortunately, using YouTube right can turn these trends around, because not only is YouTube the second-largest search engine in the world, it also enhances your rankings in standard Google searches. Most importantly, remember to make video that will engage your audience and stand out: if you follow the herd, you’ll be lost in it.
