Pixability Founder Bettina Hein to Serve As Executive Chairwoman of the Board After 10 Years as CEO
Boston, MA — March 6, 2018 — Premium video advertising software company, Pixability has announced the appointment of David George to Chief Executive Officer, and the transition of Pixability Founder Bettina Hein to Executive Chairwoman of the Board. George brings deep video, digital media, and advertising/marketing technology expertise to Pixability, and more than 15 years of experience successfully scaling business operations globally. George will be based out of Pixability’s Boston headquarters, and will spend significant time at the company’s offices in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and London.
During most of his tenure at Facebook, George led the Mobile Publisher Solutions team which drove rapid growth for Facebook’s Audience Network. His hire is an indication of the unique value that Pixability’s technology brings to video advertising on Facebook and YouTube — the two platforms that own the lion’s share of digital ad growth — as well as to Twitter, Snapchat, Spotify and other premium video platforms.

George’s extensive video software experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Celtra, a Creative Management Platform for digital advertising; EVP Business Development at KickApps (acquired by Kit Digital), a social video management software company; and VP Worldwide Sales & Alliances at Maven Networks (acquired by Yahoo), a pioneering video content management, syndication and advertising platform.
