This Juneteenth, we’re honored to feature Lamonte Goode, creator and founder of CYBERYOGA, a channel that blends movement, mindfulness, strength, and spirituality into an immersive wellness experience.

As part of Pixability’s Inclusive Media Initiative (IMI), we’re proud to spotlight creators who are reshaping digital culture through authentic storytelling, community building, and meaningful representation on YouTube.

This Juneteenth, we’re honored to feature Lamonte Goode, creator and founder of CYBERYOGA, a channel that blends movement, mindfulness, strength, and spirituality into an immersive wellness experience. Through futuristic visuals, intentional practice, and deeply personal philosophy, CYBERYOGA challenges traditional perceptions of fitness and wellness while creating space for healing, empowerment, and self-discovery.

Juneteenth serves as both a celebration of freedom and a reflection on resilience, creativity, and cultural impact. In that spirit, we asked Lamonte about his inspiration behind CYBERYOGA, the importance of representation in wellness spaces, the power of community on YouTube, and how creators can use digital platforms to inspire transformation both online and offline.

Theresa: Can you introduce yourself, your channel CYBERYOGA, and the vision behind the movement you’re building?

Lamonte: My name is Lamonte Goode, founder of CYBERYOGA. CYBERYOGA is a mind, body, and spirit human upgrade movement system guided by the Divine. Through movement, mindfulness, strength, and spirituality, my mission is to remind people of their innate power, purpose, and potential while inspiring greater health, self-mastery, and connection.

Theresa: Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and cultural legacy. What does Juneteenth personally mean to you, and how does that spirit show up in your work?

Lamonte: Juneteenth represents freedom, resilience, and the ability to rise above adversity. It reminds me to continue sharing my gifts and message despite the challenges of the past. CYBERYOGA is focused on creating a positive future rooted in empowerment, healing, and possibility for all people.

Theresa: Your content blends movement, mindfulness, strength, and spirituality in a really unique way. How did you develop the CYBERYOGA philosophy and aesthetic?

Lamonte: CYBERYOGA was developed through my experience in multiple movement disciplines including acrobatics, breakdance, calisthenics, contemporary dance, yoga, and geometric movement exploration. I believe the human body is the most advanced technology on the planet. CYBERYOGA serves as a reminder of this concept and encourages people to unlock their highest physical, mental, and spiritual potential.

Theresa: Representation in wellness and fitness spaces has historically been limited. What has it meant to you to create a platform where people can experience healing, movement, and self-discovery through your lens?

Lamonte: It has been incredibly meaningful. Technology allows us to share our stories and gifts with the world in ways that were never possible before. One of the main reasons I created CYBERYOGA was to offer a unique perspective on healing, movement, and personal growth. I believe one of the highest human acts is to inspire others.

Theresa: YouTube has become a place where creators can build culture and community directly with audiences. How has YouTube empowered you to share your voice and perspective authentically?

Lamonte: YouTube has given me a platform to share my message with people across the world. It allows me to teach, inspire, and connect with individuals from many different backgrounds. I’m grateful for the opportunity to authentically express my vision and serve others through content.

Theresa: Community seems central to CYBERYOGA. What are some of the most meaningful messages or stories you’ve received from viewers?

Lamonte: Some of the most meaningful messages come from people who tell me that CYBERYOGA has inspired positive changes in their lives and families. Hearing that my work has helped someone discover strength, healing, or hope reminds me why I do what I do. My hardships became the foundation for a movement that now helps others.

Theresa: How do you think creators can use digital platforms like YouTube to help expand conversations around healing, identity, and representation?

Lamonte: By creating authentic and relatable content. When people share their stories honestly, they give others permission to do the same. Digital platforms have the power to foster understanding, empowerment, healing, and meaningful representation.

Theresa: Is there a brand or organization you feel especially aligned with, and what would an ideal partnership with them look like through the lens of CYBERYOGA?

Lamonte: I admire companies like Nike, Apple, and Vivobarefoot. Apple’s clean and innovative design aligns with the futuristic aesthetic of CYBERYOGA. Nike inspires movement, performance, and culture. Vivobarefoot promotes natural movement and healthy foot function. An ideal partnership would combine wellness, movement education, technology, and community impact to inspire healthier lifestyles.

Theresa: What advice would you give to emerging Black creators who want to build something original and authentic online?

Lamonte: Focus on authenticity, joy, and service. Create from your genuine passions rather than trends. The more you embrace your unique voice and perspective, the more meaningful and lasting your impact will be.

Theresa: Looking ahead, what’s next for CYBERYOGA and the community you’re building?

Lamonte: The future of CYBERYOGA includes expanding workshops across the country and internationally, growing our online fitness and wellness offerings, and creating larger healing-centered community events. I’m also working toward publishing a book, developing a film project, and launching CYBERYOGA certification training to help spread the movement globally.

Theresa: Is there anything else you’d like brands, audiences, or the broader media industry to better understand about inclusive representation in wellness and creator culture?

Lamonte: Representation matters because people need to see themselves reflected in wellness, fitness, and creative spaces. I encourage brands and media organizations to continue creating opportunities like this that amplify diverse voices, stories, and perspectives. Thank you for creating space for these conversations.
