Tell us a little bit about your background:
Upon completion of my master’s degree, I thought I could get a job at Boston Consulting Group…. well, apparently you need 5+ years of experience in a field before that can happen! Campbell-Ewald saw my resume posted on my school’s website and reached out to see if I was interested in a Media Research Analyst position. That began my 21 year run working in media departments for advertising agencies – all on the General Motors account. I have always been interested in emerging tech and data, so shifted to Ad Tech sales 9 years ago and absolutely love it!
What is the last thing you watched on YouTube?
A food video on how to cook Branzino en Papillote – cooking it this weekend for a dinner party. Food is my passion, so I’m always looking for unique recipes.
What is the best career advice you have ever received?
Always strive to do your best and go above and beyond my “job description”.
What advice would you give to someone starting out in their career?
Always ask questions – don’t be afraid to ask for clarification, even if you think it’s a silly question… there are no silly questions! Be curious and learn about all teams in your company – you may find out there’s another department or role you want to move towards. Find a mentor – someone you respect and has achieved the success you strive to achieve.
