We’re always updating the app to make it better and easier to use for parents and kids, and last year we launched new tools, including: parent-approved content mode; content collections from trusted partners; improved search-off controls; and more.
- YouTube on TV Screens
- Device targeting available in AdWs that allows us to target CTV screens, chromecast devices and OTT hardware (like gaming consoles, Roku ect). This is auction based inventory that we can target with almost all of the same targeting opportunities as the other devices on AdWs, but it’s on the largest screen in the living room and it is a fraction of the cost of traditional OTT buying. (See this slide for more details)
- YouTube Search
- YouTube's discovery system similar to Google Search. Results include videos, playlist, channels, and InDisplay ads.
- YouTube TV
- An app or “streaming service” that lets viewers subscribe to the major TV broadcasters, popular cable networks and local news live, or record for later consumption.
